Belair at Moscow Property Exhibition
Belair Real Estate participated in a well-attended exhibition in Moscow and the response was very encouraging. The Domexpo International Property Fair covering a total area of 12,000m2 attracted 150 participating agents from 30 countries.
Radiance Realty’s stand (Belair’s agent in Moscow) was manned by Eugene Alistov, assisted by Ian Casolani (Belair director) and Ian Pace from the Malta office. Over 7000 people attended this exhibition, most of whom were looking for an alternative residence or a second residence in countries that enjoy more favourable climate conditions.
Radiance Realty’s stand offered all types of property in Malta, with emphasis on lifestyle developments and villas. Information was given on possible tax advantages and residency requirements; other property related services offered by Belair; yachting in Malta (which is becoming very popular with Russians) and the possibility of having their boat in one of the marinas, to enjoy the Mediterranean Sea. This is a selling point the company has also emphasised on, together with the comfortable lifestyle and easy social life.
On their return, Mr Casolani and Mr Pace immediately started working on the various enquires already placed; the average requests are from 200,000 to 300,000 euros and others from 400,000 to 1,000,000 euros. A few of these visitors have already confirmed their visit to Malta in the coming months.
Belair would like to take this opportunity to advise all owners of good properties who are not already registered with it, to do so immediately, as it has have a great demand for such property, especially villas. Other requests related to properties that enjoy decent outdoor space, as in houses with courtyard/garden and apartments/maisonettes with large terraces, and penthouses.
The other point of interest Belair promoted, was the possibility of foreigners purchasing property in Malta with a view to renting it out. Over the past years this has been a popular form of investment in general, as the demand grows for good quality rental properties. Belair’s achievements in this sector is on the increase as it takes customer service to another level, giving the foreign purchaser peace of mind when finishing and furnishing his/her property ready to be placed on the open market for rental.
